How to Survive from a Breakup

For those who don´t know me, I must tell you that I´m such a romantic person and being in love is such an amazing feeling for me. Although, I had to deal with some breakups and lack of confidence in the past, experiences changed me in a very positive way and I wish someone, at that time, could teach me some insights about "how to survive from a breakup".

My tips:

1. Breakups are never easy do deal with so be conscious that hard times and thoughtful feelings will, probably, break into your mind constantly;

2. After a breakup I was used to check that person´s social media and acting like a stalker for a long time. Trying to know everything about their dates and wanted to know their daily life routine. Never do this! You are bringing back feelings that should not be in your mind ever again;

3. Accept all the situation. One thing I´ve been noticing, recently, is that we try to erase what happened and move on with our lives pretending everything is fine and that we still feel good in any way. But we don´t. We could not feel worse (inside), we barely eat properly and our weekends are passed reliving old times. I advise you to understand what really happened and that, sometimes, we can not help but pack our bags and move on;

4. Move on. As hard it can seems, this is not impossible!

5. Be friends with your ex-partner (if it is possible) or Never talk to that person again. Honestly, related to my experience I can guarantee you that is tough maintain any type of connection with your ex. grrrr. It´s hard after all the toxic feelings and actions. But, if we are talking about grown people, maintaining that friendship only means that, after everything you have been through, you still care about each other, even better, you still love each other but in a different way.

6. Love has a different meaning for everyone.

7. It is okay to be sad for some time. I can tell you that feeling depressed helped me to get through from bad mind status. Because hard times are amazing opportunities to start something new;

8. Do some exercise and treat yourself better. Book some flights to any random place, stay connected to people that make you feel better, start eating better and do some jogging to stay fit. Doing some sports will release some endorphines into your bloodstream, which relaxes your mind and body;

9. Surround yourself with happy vibes, with people who help you to become the best version of yourself.
